Gwyn Meadows Farm offers weekly Summer Camp starting June 20, 2011. Campers will experience a full week of fun at the farm riding and engaging in different contests and challenges.
Camp day runs from 9:30am - 3:00pm five days a week.
1st session June 20 - July 1
- Orientation, Trailrides
2nd session July 4 - July 15
- Horse wedding, July 8
- Gymkana (Games on horseback) , July 15
3rd Session July 18 - July 29
- Horseless Horse show and Movie Night, July 21
- Camp Horse show, July 29
4th Session August 1 - August 12
- Trailrides
- Scavenger Hunt, August 12
Tuition
- 4 sessions : $1,950.00
- 3 sessions : $1,550.00
- 2 sessions : $1,100.00
- 1 session : $600.00
Campers are required to bring the following:
- Lunch (beverages and ice cream are available to purchase).
- Hard Hat (must be AHSA approved)
- Riding boots or hard soled shoes with a heel.
- Long pants for riding.
- A change of clothes
Transportation is available to and from the Chestnut Hill train station $100.00 per session (Subject to change). Pick up at the Chestnut Hill Train Station West (at the top of the hill) is at 8:45am and the campers will be returned by 3:30pm. Please be considerate of the driver and be there on time.
All tuition must be paid and release forms signed before camp starts.
